Telangana: 70-year-old coronavirus patient falls off hospital bed, dies

A coronavirus positive patient, 70, in Telangana died on Sunday after falling off a hospital bed. The bizarre incident was reported from Karimnagar district of Telangana.

The 70-year-old man, who was suffering from the novel coronavirus, slipped off the bed and died, media reports said. The victim was a hailed from Venkataiahpalli in Gangadhara mandal and was admitted to the hospital in Karimnagar on July 22 and was put on oxygen support.

The video of the incident has gone viral on social media, which allegedly depicts the the apathy of the hospital authorities. Meanwhile, Karimnagar district reported 51 coronavirus cases on Sunday. For more, watch the full video for a detailed report.
