Time to stand up to BCCI, 400 million now on one side: Ex-Pak cricket chief

Madras High Court today ordered that there will be no liquor shops near residential areas.
Irked residents, broke in and entered a Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation (TASMAC) alcohol shop on Sunday to protest against the liquor vend coming up in a residential area in Royal City, Arialyalur.
After breaking into the shop, the citizens, mostly women, took out the liquor bottles and placed boxes of them on the road as a protest against the shop.
