Tamil Nadu Guv refuses to allow Senthil Balaji to continue as cabinet minister without portfolio

Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi has not agreed to arrested state Minister V Senthil Balaji continuing any longer as a member of the council of ministers. 

A Raj Bhawan statement released earlier in the day stated that Governor RN Ravi opposed V Senthil Balaji continuing in the Stalin-led cabinet as he was facing criminal proceedings.

V Senthil Balaji was recently arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with a cash-for-jobs scam and is currently receiving medical treatment.
