Takes courage to commit 100 per cent electrification: BJP minister RK Singh

The government of India recently claimed that all villages in the country have been electrified.

Regardless of the government's tall claim of empowering more than 18,000 villages, Alirajpur district in Madhya Pradesh presents a different picture. Also, Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala claims that 97% of India's villages were electrified by 2014 when the Congress was in power.
