Strong tremors felt in Delhi, parts of north India as two earthquakes jolt Nepal

Strong earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR and in several parts of north India this afternoon after two consecutive earthquakes hit Nepal.

According to the National Centre for Seismology, the first earthquake with a 4.6 magnitude and the second with a magnitude of 6.2 -- occurred in a span of nearly half an hour. The origin of both earthquakes were in Nepal.
