Send Bilkis Bano rapists, Gurmeet Ram Rahim back to jail: Delhi women's panel chief writes to PM Modi

Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chief Swati Maliwal has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking stronger laws and policies to restrict the remission and paroles of rape convicts. She cited the Bilkis Bano rape case and Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim and said that they must be sent back to jail. The Bilkis Bano gangrape case relates to the aftermath of the 2002 Gujarat riots, five-months pregnant Bilkis Bano was gang-raped by 11 men. Fourteen members of her family are killed before her eyes.
