President Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday addressed a joint sitting of Parliament on the first day of the Budget Session. In his address, President Murmu said that her government believed that the "grand edifice of a developed India will stand on four strong pillars â youth power, women power, farmers and the poor". Highlighting the achievements of the Central government, President Murmu said Rs 18 lakh crore were given to farmers in India as MSP. She further added that farmers are getting 2.5 times more MSP now. President Murmu also added that with the inclusive policies of the Union government, women in India are now fighter pilots. Touching upon the consecration ceremony of Ram Mandir, President Murmu said that the building of Ram Temple was a dream of centuries, but it is a reality now.
