Prajwal Revanna suspended till special probe team's report out

The Janata Dal (Secular) has suspended Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna over the sex scandal. JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy, after a meeting chaired by party chief HD Deve Gowda in Hubballi, said that Prajwal's expulsion will be decided after the SIT report is out.

"The JD(S) party is against injustice towards women," HD Kumaraswamy said.

According to sources, Prajwal has been accused of sexually assaulting several women.

Prajwal Revanna was the BJP-JD(S) alliance's candidate from Hassan Lok Sabha seat in Karnataka which went to the polls in the second phase on April 26.
