PM Modi Attends Satya Sai Baba Centenary, Unveils Key Farmer Initiatives

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, to attend the 100th birth centenary celebrations of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The Prime Minister, who was received by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, will visit the Mahasamadhi, participate in a Maha Aarti, and release commemorative stamps and coins. In a post on Platform X, Mr. Modi stated that Sathya Sai Baba's 'life and efforts for social service and spiritual equipment will serve as a guiding light for generations'. The week-long event is expected to draw over two lakh devotees, with several other dignitaries scheduled to attend. Following the events in Puttaparthi, the Prime Minister is scheduled to travel to Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
