Prime Minister Narendra Modi addresses the South India Natural Farming Summit in Coimbatore, highlighting India's potential to become a global hub for natural farming and releasing the 21st instalment of the PM-KISAN scheme, transferring ₹18,000 crore to nine crore farmers. The Prime Minister praised the initiative of Tamil Nadu's farmers and stressed the need for agricultural transformation, stating, 'For our soil's fertility and crop's nutritional revival, we have to move on the path of natural farming, this is our vision and also our need.' He also noted the presence of former Coimbatore MP C.P. Radhakrishnan, who is the current Vice President of India.
