Vinay Sharma, one of the four death row convicts in the Nirbhaya case, was reportedly injured after he tried to hurt himself in Tihar jail.
Sources in the Tihar Jail official said Vinay Sharma was hurt after he hit his head against a wall in his cell on February 16.
A Delhi court on Monday had directed the four convicts in the Nirbhaya gangrape and murder case to be hanged on March 3, but a cloud of suspense hangs over their execution as one of the condemned prisoners is yet to exhaust his legal remedies.
