Navjot Singh Sidhu resigns as Punjab Cabinet minister, writes to Rahul Gandhi

Punjab minister Navjot Singh Sidhu has resigned from the state Cabinet. Submitting his resignation letter to the former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Sidhu posted a copy of the same on Twitter. The letter is dated June 10, 2019. The Punjab ministers quipped whether Navjot Singh Sidhu was "so dumb" that he didn't know that the "cabinet minister post was not a party post, and his resignation could not be accepted by Rahul Gandhi".
