On the second day of his four-day tour to six nations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today met German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin.
Addressing a joint press conference with Merkel, PM Modi highlighted that Germany is a key trade partner for India.
"We are looking at outcome oriented momentum in India-Germany ties and a quantum jump specially in economic ties. India-Germany partnership will help our nations and also help the world," said PM Modi.
"Germany's extensive work in skill development, which has set the standards globally, can benefit the youth of India," he added.
