Mumbai: Chargesheet filed in CST Bridge collapse case

The Azad Maidan police today filed chargesheet in the CST Bridge collapse case. The chargesheet has been filed against the prime accused, structural auditor Neeraj Desai in the case. The 709-page chargesheet states that Desai conducted NDT test on 16 points of the bridge but didn't conduct the test on the deck of the bridge. The deck portion of the bridge collapsed on March 14 killing 7 persons and leaving 34 others injured in the incident.
