Modi attacks Congress over Michel's revelations, says he knew more than then PM

As the Congress continues to attack the Bharatiya Janata Party over the Rafale deal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hit back at the opposition party on the AgustaWestland scam.

Speaking at a rally in Baripada, Odisha, PM said Christian Michel knew more about the workings of the government than the then prime minister Manmohan Singh himself.

Modi also made a reference to a 2009 letter written by Christian Michel to the former chief of Finmeccania (now Leonardo), the parent company of AgustaWestland.
