'Ma Ganga has adopted me': PM gets emotional remembering late mother

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Varanasi on Tuesday ahead of filing his nomination papers from the Lok Sabha constituency.

In an exclusive interview, PM Modi got emotional remembering his late mother Heeraben Modi. "Feel more strongly for the Ganga after mother's death," said the PM.

In the city, PM Modi greeted people while on his way to the Dasaswamedh Ghat, where he offered prayers at the River Ganga.
