Lokpal institution must immediately revamp itself: Abhishek Manu Singhvi

In an exclusive interview with India Today TV, senior lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi shared his thoughts on Lokpal floating tender for 7 luxury BMWs and its functioning.

Singhvi said, "They are welcome to their BMWs, and I know that judges have entitlement to it, and I'm not really grudging them the BMWs. The real thing is that this is an institution with a huge underperformance."

On the functioning of Lokpal, Singhvi said, "Even Lokayuks at the state level have functioned more effectively. You have examples in Karnataka. You have examples in other states. This Lokpal institution at the center must immediately revamp itself."
