Heat on Karti Chidambaram: Enforcement Directorate to seek information from UK in INX case

After registering a case of money laundering against Karti Chidambaram and INX Media, the Enforcement Directorate is to send letters to the United Kingdom government seeking information related to this case.

According to sources, the Enforcement Directorate has got fresh leads in Karti-INX group case and has apparently, written to the home ministry for seeking approval for sending letters which are basically requested for more information from the United Kingdom.

The Enforcement Directorate had registered a case of money laundering against Karti Chidambaram and INX Media in connection with alleged irregularities in the grant of FICV approval to the company to receive foreign direct investment.
