JNU Tapes impact: Delhi Police asks Akshat Awasthi to join probe

After India Today TV's sting operation revealed Akshat Awasthi's involvement in the JNU violence, the Delhi Police asked him to join the probe along with another student Rohit Shah. However, Awasthi refused to join the investigation.

Akshat Awasthi, who was seen in India Today TV's two-part investigation, the JNU tapes, had identified himself in the footage of January 5 violence as an activist of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP).
