Is BJP and TMC yatra war prelude to 2019?

There's no end to the showdown between the Mamata Banerjee government and the West Bengal BJP. A day after the Calcutta High Court struck down the order denying permission to the BJP for the rath yatra, Banerjee will challenge the verdict before the division bench of the High Court.

On Thursday, the Calcutta High Court court has turned down the state government's argument about apprehension of possible communal tension and said that the state relied heavily on intelligence reports pertaining to certain districts but names of such districts were not revealed. Laying down conditions for peaceful yatra, the court also stated that the rally shall not impede on normal vehicle or traffic movement and follow all regulations imposed by the government.
