India's total coronavirus cases climb to 33,050 with 1780 new cases in last 24 hours

India's total coronavirus cases have climbed to 33,050 with 1780 new cases reported in the last 24 hours, according to Union Health Ministry.

Lav Aggarwal, Joint Secretary, Health Ministry, said that India has also been able to slow down the rate at which the Covid-19 cases were being doubled to 11 days. That means now it takes 11 days for Covid-19 cases to become 200 per cent as compared to 3.4 days before the lockdown.
