India Today Independence Day week special discusses the Mood of the Nation as the popularity of Narendra Modi as a leader stands unrivaled in recent times. The findings of the Mood of the Nation poll show that if elections were held today, Narendra Modi's Bharatiya Janata Party would once again emerge victorious.

The Mood of the Nation is pretty clear: Narendra Modi is miles ahead of his contemporaries and stands on the cusp of going down in history as one of India's strongest political leaders. PM Modi's approval ratings currently stand at 71 per cent, a sharp rise compared to the 54 per cent approval he enjoyed in the January 2019 edition of the Mood of the Nation.
