The 8th round of talks between India and China is scheduled to take place on Friday (November 6) where India is likely to demand complete disengagement of troops along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh. âThe Chinese have confirmed that they would be holding the eighth round of talks with India for which dates would be finalised soon,â top government sources had told Aaj Tak and India Today TV earlier.
The last round of talks between India and China over the border issue was held on October 12 in which the two sides discussed a number of measures for de-escalation and disengagement in the eastern Ladakh sector. India and China have been locked in a bitter standoff along the LAC for more than six months. While China began amassing massive military strength along the LAC, India responded with a befitting build-up.
