Hindu Samaj Party leader Kamlesh Tiwari was on IS hit list: Gujarat ATS

Hours after the murder of Hindu Samaj Party leader Kamlesh Tiwari, Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) chief told India Today that two IS terrorists who were arrested by them in 2017 had told them about their plan to kill Kamlesh Tiwari. According to the cop, they were also given a video of Kamlesh Tiwari by their handler.

Meanwhile, UP Police has not confirmed whether IS has anything to do with the murder.

Tiwari was stabbed more than 15 times by the attackers at his office in Lucknow today.
