He has crossed the Lakshman rekha: Kapil Sibal on Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi's move to dismiss Senthil Balaji

Former Union Law Minister and Senior Advocate Kapil Sibal has said that Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi crossed the Lakshman rekha with his move to sack Minister V Senthil Balaji from the Cabinet.

Kapil Sibal said, "He has crossed the Lakshman Rekha. It's a constitutional impropriety."

In an unprecedented move, Ravi on Thursday "dismissed with immediate effect" arrested minister V Senthil Balaji from the council of ministers, only to backtrack on his decision late in the night.
