Good News: Tribal girl from Naxal-hit Sukma cracks medical entrance

Sukma district of Chhattisgarh, which is known as the epicentre of Maoist terror, is back in the news. However, this time for an entirely different reason.

Maya is the first to get a medical seat from Naxal-affected Sukma.

"The situation here is so bad. You always get to hear about it in the news. But it was my childhood dream to become a doctor. In spite of all that I focused on my studies," said Maya.
