ED summons Praful Patel on October 18

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday summoned NCP leader Praful Patel for questioning on October 18 over his alleged links with PMC Bank scam accused HDIL directors--Rakesh Wadhawan and Sarang Wadhwan.

Documents accessed by India Today TV, which are now part of the investigation by the ED, indicated that Praful Patel along with his wife travelled at least 8 times using the chartered flights of Privilege Airways Pvt Ltd, a company owned by Wadhwans.

The ED will also question Praful Patel in connection to the probe against the properties of gangster Dawood Ibrahim's aide and drug lord Iqbal Mirchi.
