Developing world paying cost of developed world's contamination: Argentina Prez

Argentinian President Alberto Fernandez, in an exclusive interview with India Today, discussed a range of issues including climate change, war in Ukraine, Africa’s membership in the G20, and defense cooperation with India. He spoke about the urgent need for a consensus and immediate action on climate change.

He said, "Developed world has contaminated the world, and the world that wants to develop has not contaminated, but is paying the consequences the same consequences as the part of the world that actually contaminated." 

However, he maintained that countries that have contributed more to climate degradation should shoulder greater responsibilities in addressing it.
