A heap of furniture in a courtyard. A mutilated blackboard. A notebook sitting forlornly on a windowsill. This is the DRP Convent School in Shiv Vihar, one of the areas in northeast Delhi hit by deadly communal violence that has killed over 40. Here, the attackers are said to have entered the campus by climbing down an adjacent building using rope. The school's administrative head say they stole laptops and other electronic equipment.
