How can Delhi fight pollution? Here's what Mexican envoy to India Melba Pria has to say

"Mexico (City) was in 1992 regarded the most polluted city in the world. We were there. We were worse than Delhi."

That's how Melba Pria, the Mexican Ambassador to India, began a conversation about pollution in the national capital, with India Today Foreign Affairs Editor Geeta Mohan.

And now? Mexico City belongs to the 'Club of 40' - the 40 best cities in the world.

"You need many years to tackle pollution. But you have to start," Melba Pria says.
