Delhi govt unveils new excise rules for 2021-2022, allows bars to operate till 3 am

The Delhi government unveiled the new excise rules for 2021-2022. As per the new policy, clubs, restaurants and bars in hotels will be allowed to operate till 3 am.

Liquor will be permitted to be served in open spaces such as terraces and balconies by establishments which have the necessary license.

According to the 2021-22 excise policy, every liquor vend in the city will provide a walk-in experience to its buyers. Customers will have multiple choices of brands. The entire selection and sale process will be completed within the premises of the outlet.
