Coronavirus in India: Pandemic dries up Rajasthan's tourism sector

Rajasthan is suffering due to lockdown with tourism industry taking a hit. The locals had earlier also sought government intervention to help them.

In Rajasthan, the government has allowed opening up of forts and palaces but the fear factor persists. And because of that it is not just the inflow of tourists that has been massively affected but also livelihoods linked with ancillary businesses. If things do not change soon, then the situation may take a turn for the worse than what it already is.
