Coimbatore: Fringe groups burn, tear greeting cards to protest against Valentine's Day

The Bharat Sena and Shakti Sena, who identify themselves as Hindu groups, have taken it upon themselves to be the moral police on Valentine's Day.

They believe that Valentine's Day is against India's culture and have asked couples not to celebrate it. The groups have announced that they will be on a lookout in public places including parks, beaches, temples and cinema halls and will make sure that young couples do not celebrate the day of love on February 14.
