Caught on CCTV: UP woman shot mistakenly in the head by cop inside police station

A woman's life hangs in the balance after being shot in the head at point-blank range by Sub-Inspector Manoj Sharma in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh.  

The woman was visiting the Aligarh police station for her passport verification on December 8. 

The whole incident was captured on CCTV. 

The woman was admitted to a nearby hospital and is in a critical condition. 

The circumstances leading to the discharge of the firearm are under investigation, with the community awaiting answers and the officer's accountability.
