Dilip Ghosh alleges Prashant Kishor's team threatening BJP leaders to join TMC

BJP West Bengal president Dilip Ghosh has accused political strategist Prashant Kishor and his team of threatening his party’s leaders to join the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress in the state.

Dilip Ghosh’s statement came after West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee accused the BJP of horse-trading. Addressing a rally in Cooch Behar in the morning, Mamata Banerjee termed detractors in her party as “opportunists” and blamed the BJP for trying to break the TMC by using “moneybags”.

Refuting CM Banerjee’s claims, Dilip Ghosh said that it was in fact her political strategist Prashant Kishor who was making such calls. “Mamata Banerjee is saying that the BJP is calling up the TMC leaders. Let me tell you that it is Prashant Kishor’s team IPAC [that is] calling up the BJP leaders over tea and even threatening them to join the TMC,” Dilip Ghosh said.
