The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has questioned the links between Congress president Rahul Gandhi and controversial data-mining firm Cambridge Analytica (CA).
"For months, media have been gaga over how Cambridge Analytica is helping relaunch Rahul Gandhi and help the party get some success," the BJP said.
In a series of tweets Minister of Law and Justice and Information Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad has questioned the Congress party on its links with the data analytic firm Cambridge Analytica. He repeated his charges in the press conference.
Prasad asked if Congress would now depend upon data manipulation and theft to win elections; he also tweeted that there were news reports about the use of bots to artificially increase the social media following of Rahul Gandhi in recent times.
