Assam flood fury: Ground report from Kamrup district

The northeastern state of Assam is facing flood fury. Thousands of people in 26 districts have been forced to shift to relief camps, around 81 people and over 100 animals have been killed so far.

With the rising water level of Brahmaputra river, roads are cut off, hundreds of acres of agricultural lands have submerged and people are now moving to relief camps for safety.

It's not just humans who are suffering. In the Kaziranga National Park, many wild animals have died so far due to the floods.
