Akhilesh Yadav criticises BJP over Maha Kumbh stampede death toll

Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav has alleged that BJP’s double engine government is hiding the real death toll of stampede at Maha Kumbh mela in Prayagraj. The government reported 30 deaths and 60 injuries in the stampede, but the Opposition argued that the actual toll was higher.

"While the government is continuously giving budget figures, please also give the figures of those who died in Maha Kumbh. I demand an all-party meeting should be called to give clarification about the arrangements for Maha Kumbh." Akhilesh Yadav said
