No end to bitter feud between Captain Amarinder Singh & Navjot Singh Sidhu

In a fresh attack, former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has challenged Navjot Singh Sidhu to contest from Patiala in the upcoming Punjab Assembly polls. Amarinder Singh has announced that he would contest the upcoming assembly elections from Patiala assembly constituency.

“I will fight elections from Patiala only. Patiala has been with us for the last 400 years and I will not leave it for the sake of (Navjot) Sidhu,” he posted on his 'Punjab Da Captain' Facebook page on Saturday.

The Patiala assembly seat has been the family bastion of the former chief minister. He has represented the seat four times -- 2002, 2007, 2012 and 2017.

"If Sidhu has doubts about my capability, he can come and contest from Patiala. He will also lose his deposit like General JJ Singh," Amarinder Singh had said in an interview to a regional channel.
