BSP demands CBI probe into murder of party's Tamil Nadu chief K Armstrong

The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has demanded a CBI probe into the murder of the party's Tamil Nadu chief K Armstrong. On Saturday, several BSP workers protested outside the Rjib Gandhi Hospital, where Armstrong's post-mortem was conducted, demanding the CBI probe. Meanwhile, BSP chief Mayawati has appealed to workers to "maintain peace" and asked the Tamil Nadu government to take strict action against the culprits. Calling it an "extremely sad and worrying incident", Mayawati said she was planning to visit Chennai on Sunday to pay her tribute to Armstrong and meet his family members.
