Premeditated murder: AAP blames Delhi's 4-engine BJP govt for biker's death
The Aam Aadmi Party said the incident was "not an accident" but a result of negligence by the BJP government and its officials, alleging administrative failure and lack of accountability.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday targeted the BJP government in Delhi after a biker died allegedly after falling into an open pit in Janakpuri, using social media platform X to hold the administration responsible and intensify the political row over civic safety in the national capital.
In a post on X, the party said the incident was “not an accident” but a result of negligence by the BJP government and its officials, alleging administrative failure and lack of accountability. "This is not an accident in Janakpuri, the capital of the country, Delhi, but a premeditated murder carried out by the BJP's four engines," the post read.
AAP claimed that more than 100 people had lost their lives in Delhi over the past year due to what it described as the government’s incompetence.
The 25-year-old, Kamal Dhyani, a resident of Kailashpuri, had left his office in Rohini on Wednesday night, but never reached home. He was later found dead in a 15-foot-deep pit dug for Delhi Jal Board (DJB) work. Police and officials who reached the spot discovered his motorcycle lying toppled nearby. Preliminary findings suggest he died after falling into the uncovered pit.
Following the incident, Delhi Urban Development Minister Ashish Sood ordered an official probe to determine responsibility and to prevent similar accidents in the future. Three DJB officials have also been suspended after an initial inquiry into the matter.
The incident triggered strong reactions online, with AAP accusing the BJP-led administration of systemic failure and negligence, while calling for accountability over what it termed a preventable death. The development has added to the ongoing political confrontation between the two parties over governance and infrastructure safety in the city.
