TMC files complaint with EC over BJP Bengal chief's 'more Sitalkuchis' remark about Cooch Behar violence

The All India Trinamool Congress has lodged a complaint with the election commission over BJP West Bengal chief Dilip Ghosh's controversial remarks about the Cooch Behar violence on Saturday. TMC demanded legal action against him and said his remarks 'justified such murders'.

On Sunday, Ghosh had said that more Cooch Behar-like killings may happen if "naughty boys like the ones who received bullets in Sitalkuchi" try to take the law into their hands.

On the day of the fourth phase of polling in the West Bengal assembly election, four people lost their lives in CISF firing outside a polling booth in Cooch Behar.
