Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman spoke about several issues including the upcoming assembly polls, Tamil Nadu politics, rising fuel prices and the government's future economic roadmap during a session at the India Today Conclave South 2021. While agreeing that Tamil Nadu has been dominated by regional parties for decades, Sitharaman said the BJP has gained a lot of traction in the state by focusing on development and cultural aspects. She went on to say that the BJP has done everything in its capacity for the state. When asked about the upcoming assembly elections, Nirmala Sitharaman said the BJPâs performance will be nothing less than impressive.
