2019 Lok Sabha polls Phase 1: Kashmiri Pandit voters cast vote to return to ancestral land

Several displaced Kashmiri Pandit voters came out to vote in large numbers in the first phase of 2019 Lok Sabha polls to return to their ancestral land.

The first phase of general elections was held on April 11 in 91 constituencies spread across 20 states and Union territories in India. In Jammu and Kashmir, two seats out of six went to polls in Phase I of 2019 Lok Sabha general elections.
