INS Viraat story did create some controversy in 1988 but it died down: Journalist who broke the story

Journalist Anitha Pratap, who broke the story about Rajiv Gandhi using INS Viraat in 1988, said the story did create some controversy then, but it soon died down.

Anitha Pratap said, "This of course did create some sort of controversy. There was a fair amount of buzz made, but as it is often the case, the buzz died down because the media moved on to another story."

Anitha Pratap had written a three-page article in India Today Magazine.
