Exit Poll Results 2019: Modi may win the battle for Bengal winning 19-23 seats
In West Bengal, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) may surprise the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) in the Lok Sabha election. According to India Today-My Axis India exit poll results, the BJP and the TMC have polled 41 per cent vote share in Bengal.
In terms of number of seats, the BJP is expected to win 19-23 Lok Sabha seats in Bengal and emerge as the largest party in the state, where the TMC could win up to 22 seats. The Congress is likely to win one seat, three less than the 2014 figure. The Left Front is predicted not to win a single seat in Bengal.
