Wanted contract killer arrested after encounter in Delhi's Rohini

A contract killer, wanted in multiple cases of murder, was arrested after an early morning encounter in Delhi's Rohini today. The criminal identified as Kamil was injured in the shootout. According to police, Kamil resorted to firing at the police team when he was asked to surrender. The dreaded criminal was hit in the leg as officers opened retaliatory firing, following which he was arrested. One Turkey-made Zigana pistol was recovered from Kamil, who has been admitted to a nearby hospital with a bullet injury. Notably, the Zigana pistol was used in the murder of UP don Atiq Ahmed in April. Kamil has more than 12 cases against him, including a firing incident in the Jama Masjid area of Delhi.
