Karnataka records 11,265 new Covid-19 cases, CM calls all-party meet on April 18

Karnataka reported 11,265 fresh infections and 38 deaths, taking the tally and toll to 10,94,912 and 13,046, the health department said on Wednesday. Bengaluru urban district accounted for 8,155 infections and 23 deaths on Wednesday.
The Karnataka government has made a complete U-turn on the speculation over a lockdown in the state following the spike in Covid-19 cases and said there will be no lockdown in the state. Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa has also called an all-party meeting on April 18.
