Covid-19 cases in India dip below 3 lakh, more daily recoveries reported than infection

In a slight dip in the numbers of daily infection, India recorded 2,81,386 new cases in the last 24 hours, taking India's tally to 2,49,65,463. However, the death toll has not seen any decrease and is at 4,106 taking the total death toll to 2,74,390.

As many as 3,78,741 discharges have been made in the last 24 hours, which is more than the daily cases reported.
