India begins phase 3 of vaccination drive: All you need to know

India on Thursday began Phase-3 of its nationwide Covid-19 vaccination drive at a time when the country's daily Covid-19 figures soaring high.

Under Phase 3 of the vaccination drive, the government is targeting to cover all people aged more than 45 years.

The nationwide Covid-19 vaccination drive started on January 16. In the first phase, health workers engaged in Covid-19 duty along with other essential frontline workers were covered.
